Atheists: Do You Feel Uneasy Around People Who Don’t Cuss, Drink, Dress Modestly, Or Laugh At Your Dirty Jokes?

Filed in Category Dirty Jokes

Just wonderin’ as work-associates close their PlayBoy magazines, clean their conversation, or are obviously embarassed at my overhearing their filth. Don’t they know God is aware of everything 24/7?

    I could care less really.
I don’t cuss, drink at work (at home is another matter entirely), dress immodestly, or tell dirty jokes, so I guess I haven’t really had the opportunity to feel uneasy about these things.
Most people think I’m devoutly Christian, right up to the point where I tell them in a totally friendly, benign voice that I think Jesus is a made-up figure.

no actually i feel uncomfortable around people who do cuss, drink, dress unmodesttly, and laugh at dirty jokes. i think its vulgar and they need a good beating to learn some manners and respect.

No, especially since I don’t drink or do drugs (I’m sure you just forgot to mention that one, since you’re stereotyping here). I don’t care what you say (words are words), or how you dress. In fact, I prefer people that don’t run around showing everything. To me, it looks like they have more self respect, and less need for others to like them. As for my dirty jokes? To each their own. If you find my jokes offensive, let me know, and I’ll try to remember not to tell them around you.

I don’t drink and I dress modestly, I always wear shorts to my knees or jeans and T-Shirts (and when it’s cold long sleeves). And depending on your definition of “dirty” jokes I don’t like most off color remarks.
    I’m even a bartender……

what does all that have to do with christianity. I am saved and i drink and cuss when i want. The law of god is spiritual and not natural. we cannot take the bible literally. the carnal mind is not subject to the law of god. to be carnally minded is death, to be spiritually minded is life and peace. it is all these man made rules of hatred that drives people away from god. god does not stand over us as a taskmaster ready to beat us if we take a drink of wine. it is written that paul told timothy to drink a little wine for his stomachs sake. jesus made wine, the best wine. god is cool, he loves us. he is not like many so called christians make him out to be. god don’t care how i dress as long as i am clothed in the holy spirit. to understand the bible spiritually visit http://www.onetruegod.us. there is none righteous, no not one. and i do not feel uneasy around someone that is in bondage to man and their rules. i pray for them.

Of course not that is why we stick together and avoid christians!!
    Consider: –
Did your question draw people to christianity? HARDLY
Did it offend and drive them further away? HIGHLY LIKELY!!
    God’s work? HARDLY
Seems you are in serious trouble at the final judgment then!!
    Enjoy the heat!!
Just another post that shows why christianity is now being called the “Nasty Religion”!!!

No, I don’t feel uneasy when the god zombies get close. If they have a problem with something that I say or do, that’s their issue not mine.
I am who I am. Anyone who can’t accept me is not obligated to be around me.

I don’t cuss, drink, dress immodestly, or tell dirty jokes. But I don’t not because there is a magic man in the sky watching & judging me, but because of the real life people that would judge me if I acted like that.

  11. invisibl on November 11, 2009 7:04 am

So you assume they are atheists because of that. HA! You have obviously never met a true atheist, we laugh at you filth and twisted beliefs. I would be ashamed to walk around with false hopes.
