Is It True That We Have To Clean The Toilet With A Toothbrush In The Marine Corps?
Filed in Category Marine Jokes
My friend jokes that if we made mistake by calling our Drill Instructor as Drill Sergeant, you could end up cleaning the whole toilet and its floor with only a single toothbrush!
Is my friend just pulling my leg there? Any Marine or ex-Marine could share his/her own experience here?

Yes, thats true. It happened to my husbad. But only in Basic Training. After that, they do other stupid stuff. Like make you dig holes. Then fill them back in. Or rake dirt.
no,dont b silly…of course not.stuupi d
Relax. They don’t make you use your own toothbrush.
I did in Navy Boot camp, but after that nothing as silly as that happened. I do know that when I did have to clean the bathroom with a toothbrush it was because we did not pay attention and clean the place as instructed nor to the degree needed, ie. punishment fit the crime.
Not a Marine, so maybe this will not count, but………
Twenty + years ago at Army Basic I saw a guy tasked with it chore. The drill Sargent provided the tooth brush. It’s important to remember, this guy didn’t just screw up, he broke curfew. He was at a pay phone on the edge of the Company area at 2230 hrs. One of the drill Sergeants was driving home and saw a Delta Dragons sweat shirt standing up in that phone booth. Honestly, it should hurt to be that stupid.
no this is a rumor, I never did or any one I went to boot camp with ever cleaned the toilet with a toothbrush.
yes and the bathroom floor too
You are being like the little kid going to high school for the first time.
If he’s really mad he will make you buse your toothbrush
So naive No but if you need this question answered then boot camp will suck. I hope you’re not going to Parris Island.
