My point is that, if anyone found offense to russell brand, then they were probably in the age bracket of the “kids choice awards” and should have turned off the tv if they were that shocked…Isn’t the Point for the LIFE of the VMAs to be shocking, funny, crazy entertainment that each year pushes the boundaries of what is kosher? I know the fans of the Jonas Brothers are close to a war against the host, but really, if you are under the age where you CANT take a joke, Watch the KIDS Choice awards, right?

The age bracket for the VMAs is 16-24.
Brand is a stand-up comedian, so he stood up and made jokes. Since he is a comedian rather than a children’s entertainer, the jokes had some edge, though his humour is observational and absurd rather than vicious.
yea I think the vmas this year was too Disney….I mean how the hell can the jonas bros. Take best ROCK video wtf?and how can they just give away awards to britney spears who I don’t even know had a video out… I refuse to watch anymore vmas or MTV for any matterr
