Why Did Mccain Keep The $300,000 From His Fund Raiser Who Jokes About Rape And Calls Women Cattle?

Filed in Category Jokes About Women

One of his fundraisers made some horrible rape joke and compared a woman to cattle on his property. Mccain “cancelled” attending the event but….kept the MONEY:http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

First he’s way behind Obama in terms of fundraising. Second he continues to promote sexism. He’s against equal pay for women and reproductive rights. This is just one more thing to add to his list.

Sexist jokes about rape has no place in politics, but go ahead and piss off the women vote.
And I am not sure what was the joke and May I quote it “if there is nothing you can do about it, you might as well lie down and enjoy it”.
I hope he never goes to prison and gets raped, because all the other guys would get to comfort him with that witty joke.

Hillary, you didn’t win, get over it.
Actually it is a non issue. I would be more worried about someone who announced their canidicy in the living room a radical and bomber, than someone who took a donation from a scum ball. They all take money from scum balls, it is how the game is played. I can assure you not everyone that donates to Barrack is an angel.
Personally, I haven’t made up my mind about who I am voting for in November, and this isn’t going to be a factor.

Money is green, green is a nice color. None of them can turn down green. Really pretty stuff.
Excuse me, dimitri, I don’t think either of them want to help the middle class. The middle class are “taxes” sitting ducks. The republicans have done more for the middle class than the democrats ever did. Still, none of them deliver anything real. Look at the Libertarian platform.
Everyone thinks the middle class can’t complain, can’t defend, is a bunch of idiots. They could be right. I am middle class. I am not happy with any of the crapolla being offered this year, least of all the demos.

The article on your link says that McCain was ignorant of William’s nastiness. (And YES, he should return the $300,000 to Williams.) He said the same thing when he and his wife dumped a bunch of stock last month. He didn’t know it’s profits were going to help fund terrorists. There seems to be a lot that McCain doesn’t “know” until someone else finds out.

McCain has always been money-hungry. He’s going to need lots for this campaign and the Republican Committee is not coming up with the goods. The Republican Party is in trouble… money trouble.
I understand why he’d be so desperate but he should be careful his ties to that person don’t become fodder for a TV ad.

I haven’t found any info or evidence supporting that he donated the money. That would certainly be honorable if it’s true. Could someone post a link for it if it really happened? Otherwise…well it’s certainly not the best for his image to be taking money from someone who says things like that…it just shows you the kind of people he’s consorting with. it shouldn’t by any means be a major reason in voting or not voting for the man, but it’s these little things that add up eventually I guess and have to be weighed (to a lesser degree) with his actual plans and platform.
    That being said….Obama 08′

Wow, i never heard of this. not good. most of his fundraiser are from lobbyist, so he will not invest in common people but at the rich and the lobbyist.
Changes that American are hungry for , who will bring them?
the first issue is the economy, the unemployment rate is now 5.5 percent. Price of gas and food had gone up and people who do not make a lot money are suffering.
    * in one city alone there is more than 600 houses in foreclosure because the government doesn’t support the people. Many lobbist in Washington are part of the problem. The lobbist in the the Republican party are in the interest of the elite, people who owns oil companies, pharmaceutical comp. The lobbist do not want to pay a lot tax, so the middle class is suffering because they have to pay more tax than the rich.
3, college is expensive and the loans companies are making money on the students.
    4. Healthcare and insurance is a problem, many people can’t afford insurance, especially low income familes.
5, the war, it takes 10 billion per month to stay in Iraq.
The politics in Washing ton needs to be fixed and the middle class families needs to get a break from paying Higher taxes than the rich. Senator Obama says that these are the problems that the county face. I believe that with the help of senator Clinton and other democrats, the problems such foreclosure, health insurcance, saftety and the costly war will be resolve. but they have to clean up the mess first. I believe the democrats will bring changes because they are in the interest of the people, not in the insterest of the lobbist or the elite or the oil industries. They can bring changes in many people’s life who are now suffering.
as POW he voted against a bill that will give soldiers more benefits in term of finishing their college for free.
Lastly, the republicans also vote against a bill that will reduce the price of gas on the hard working Americans because they make profits on the oil industry. They work for lobbyist mostly.
If you want change I think Obama and Clinton wants to help middle class and hard working Americans.

Because it’s money, and money is good to have.
Chill out. I’m tired of hearing people decry McCain and Obama as far as character is concerned. If you want to hate either of them, hate them for their platform and politics.

Well, McCain doesn’t think very much of women’s issues or priorities. I have to wonder what he thinks of women in general. This anecdote doesn’t do much to improve that picture, does it?

You left the other important fact out. He donated the $300,000 to a charity that helps woman recover from rape.
