Why Do Men Joke About Feminists Owning Allot Of Cats?

I think it’s supposed to imply that feminists are lonely, slightly crazy single women (because of their feminism), since that’s the perception we have about “cat ladies”.

Well some men have issues against feminist(for feminist trying to make both genders equal and blah blah blah : )and go out of their way just to make fun of them with a joke that’s not even funny. For a single woman to own a lot of cats has always been mistakenly related to that single woman always been bitter and unwanted(cats are good company
. Some feminist won’t ever want a boyfriend and in the eyes of those few men(maybe there’s a lot of men idk i dont care) they are seen as just bitter unwanted b*tches.
I guess they are trying to equate them with craziness as in the crazy cat lady syndrome. I know a lot of feminists who don’t like cats, are allergic to them, travel too much that they don’t feel it is fair to have a pet or have the nominal one or two. Not yet a crazy cat loving feminist. Just another myth meant to demonize and shame women. The same as labelling them ugly, unshaven, or dykes mosts fabrications of the actual truth. Of course the mra’s don’t worry about truth since lies are a means to an end which gives them power over others. They don’t like to share.
A study was done where 5 feminists were all put together in a tank.
After the first day they started marking their territory by peeing on the walls.
By the second day they were hissing at each other.
On the third day it was observed that if you dropped a big ball of yarn in with them they play and play until they were silly!
because its an old stereotype. The old spinster in a house full of cats, using them as a substitute for a man. So, they are going on the assumption that no feminist can get a man, so they resort to having a house full of cats.
I myself am a single woman, who lives with a cat! LOL

I always assumed it was because they were lonely old ladies that never wanted to be around men so they replaced them with cats.
I always thought it was funny..i never saw it as a feminist thing though. i thought it was the lady who gave up on humanity, who is divorced and bitter.

The funny thing is that it’s not true. I see many more women using dogs as child subsitutes or as surrogate boyfriends.
What’s wrong with cats? I know a lot of guys who have cats for pets, too. They’re easier than dogs to sneak into apartments where pets aren’t allowed.
