Why Do Polish People Tell Lots Of Jokes About Chuck Norris?

I used to work with some Polish people. They used to tell me jokes that were popular in Poland. Many of them involved Chuck Norris, and they weren’t very funny – or at least I didn’t think so, they roared with laughter! What is behind this national obsession?

Its not just Poland its a worldwide thing just now, check this out “www.chucknorrisfacts.com”, you can even buy a Chuck Norris T-Shirt with a slogan on.
I can understad this to a certain degree as he’s not a great actor, or a good looking guy, and he’s being mocked..
i know loads of polish people, even my partner is one, and i gotta say i havent heard any poles telling jokes about chuck norris.
but maybe its something to do with the fact chuck norris is a legend and poland is just a third world country, LOL HAHA.

Maybe its cus he’s one of the worst actors ever to appear infront of a camera….a plank of wood shows more emotion than him,.
